FLINDERS ISLAND ITENERY
FISH WITH JARROD DAY
FRIDAY
9am – Depart Tooradin Airport for the hour and a half flight to Flinders Island.
10.30am – Arrive at flinders Island, get settled in and unpacked.
11am – Board Mini Bus to head up to the North East River for a spot of fishing from two polycraft boats. Soft plastics fishing is recommended for flathead, salmon and trevally.
On the way, stop at the Whitemark Bakery for lunch (client pays), then continue to the river.
Fish for approx 5 hours both from the boats and land.
Roughly at 5pm, head back to Lady Baron for a BBQ dinner (supplied), shower and quiet ale.
SATURDAY
Get up very early to head out to the Tassie Trumpeter fishing grounds (weather dependant).
If the weather is unkind, gummy shark fishing and flathead bashing is an option.
If the weather is really unkind, head back to the north east river for more soft plastics action.
Breakfast at lady baron or bacon and eggs on boat (supplied).
Lunch is on the boat (supplied).
Dinner (client pays) at the Lady Barron hotel.
If energetic, fish with Jarrod from the Lady Barron pier at night for calamari and trevally.
SUNDAY
Up early (6am) to Launch the poly crafts into the Main Harbor where you'll encounter an abundance of Calamari, silver trevally, pike, whiting, pinkie snapper and much more.
Breakfast at lady baron and lunch (supplied).
Back to Lady Barron at 12-1pm to pack up and fly out by 3pm.
